Geography of Europe: Europe is a Peninsula (which means it has water sources on all three sides). There are many mountains that separated much of Europe (development of their own countries). Finally there are many rivers ( great food source and separates people again).
ALPS: Separated Italy from the rest of Europe.
English Channel: Separates England from France (and rest of Europe).
